What is your opinion about the news that Singaporean soldiers will have Ipads already?

While not being able to question the issue of ipads to soldiers of any country using it in the field would have to be some sort of joke the ipad is not the most rugged piece of equipment and no doubt they could be used in the field but to a soldier ? questionable at best expensive folly at worst .
