But, I just wanted to know if I should continue to do the sit-ups. Maybe the pain is like from burning calories. Or something. So if you guys could help me out that would be wonderful! This means anything to build your muscles! Things like weight lifting, pushups, lunges, etc. Muscle won't make you bulky I promise! The more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn. Then on your moms treadmill, do 20 to 30 minutes of cardio each day. This will burn off those calories and get the stubborn belly fat to decrease. I have cut out soda completely from my diet and mostly drink water. I have also got out all breads and of course candy and cookies. In the first 3 days I felt a huge difference. I try to eat 7 mini meals a day. (An apple can count as a meal). this is for 2 reasons....1. so you dont overeat during every meal. and 2. to keep your metobolism up. My Pelonis space heater shorted out and caused a fire. Do I have a case?

My Pelonis ceramic space heater caused a fire in my family room. I'm so glad we were home and awake! The heater was off but still plugged in. Honestly during the winter it's a permanent fixture in that room because it gets so cold. We do turn it off but typically do not unplug it. The other morning I heard what sounded like a cell phone vibrating, very loudly I might add. She ended up slamming into a concreate wall on her right, took out a No Parking sign and flattened it when she ran into it and than hit me on my left sde. They explained to me what they issued her and I asked the police if Sarah is going to be charged with a hit and run. They said no because she was scared, didnt know who I was, and didnt have a phone on her. I think that is crap because who ever knows the person that they get in an accident with. Slim to none chance. If she was so scared than why did she lead me to her residence and come to my car when nobody was around but not stop and exchange information when there were witnesses around. And she could have stopped at the gas station or any of the companies that we passed and asked to use their phone. Am I right or wrong. I have been doing some research and I have found that it states in my state that in EVERY SITUATION the people are involved in an accident are to stop and exchange information if they fail to do so they will receive a ticket, may get fined and/or go to jail. Nothing happened with the hit and run. Can I sue the police department for discrimination? By the way I am Native American, Sarah the lady that hit me is white and every police officer that showed up to investigate was white also. I have medium thick hair. It's wavy, brown, and about half way down my back. I always get a lot of flyways in my hair, at the roots mostly. Also my hair gets frizzy. I am making a collage and I set the background to 12x18. I put my images in it, flattened and made it a jpeg saving it at the max quality. Then I went to mpix to order it and it says the resolution is too low and the largest I can do is 8x12... but the images can go much bigger than 12x18 by themselves. I don't think you can be permanently high, but if you were sick or anything it changes the way it affects you, because your body can't repair that. Maybe you have a cold or something? Or, it's just taking your body a little longer to respond.

I am 12 and currently living in southeast asia. I REALLY want to go to a boarding school in england. I hate it here sooo much. You can't do anything. The only sports they offer here are soccer, basketball, swimming, tennis and track which I hate so much. Do i need a permanent resident card? A visa? And where do I have to go on the holidays? What's the students like? I'm going to the 7th grade after the holidays and hoping I can go to the boarding school in year 9. So I'll have to skip half of 8th grade,right? Here, schools start from july to june.

so i have really curly hair it goes into ringlets but i always put a tuke on at night to flatten it and partially straighten it cause i dont like my curly hair and this summer im deciding to cut it short so im wonder that if i want to get like a fo-hawk or something would my hair just curl making it not possible?

How to keep hair curled?

I used to have this exact problem and if you dont already have them then layers help your hair become natrually more curly. Then I would use TIGI Curls Rock Shampoo and conditioner and on wet hair spray TIGI Curls Rock curl booster spray. Im not sure if this product is still available but I found that other TIGI products worked to help my hair stay curler. If I was you I would NOT use hair spray on top of curls. It can actually make your hair heavier and the curls will fall out. I used to coat my hair in hairspray when I curled it and after about an hour or so it would just fall out. But since I stopped using vast amounts of hairspray on top of my curls it has been staying in for up to 8 hours at a time :) Hope this helps.

Concerned about dying hair.... ?

I use splat pink fetish and if you want the most vibrant color you have to dye it till its almost white. First since its your first time it shouldn't take long. Leave it in for an hour and check on it. If its still a little brown keep it on for an additional hour or so. The first time I did it the color was this yellowish tone. You can put the color in or you can rebleach it again a couple days later until you reach the lightness you want. Then what I do for the color is leave it in overnight. Put the color on dry hair and be careful with the blue because it stains really bad. Lol. The blue lasts for a long time even if you wash your hair all the time. Just be sure to wash in cold water. Since your hair is kinda dark it may take a while for the bleach to work. My hair is white under the pink so when it begins to fade it looks lightish pink with white streaks. :)

This Canon PIXMA MP560 printer is very easy to connect to a wireless network and prints very quickly and quietly. I was actually a little shocked at the quality and speed of this printer. One of the reasons I also chose this printer was because of the non-OEM ink available for it at amazing prices. Hi, I'm a 15 year old girl and I decided since it's summer I should get in a little better shape. I've always been a healthy eater, though I am a vegetarian so I've made sure to start eating more protein which is helping, but I'm kind of at a loss as far as exercising goes. I'm not overweight or unhealthy, but I'd like a tape with cardio and something to help me tone my arms and legs, as well as flatten my stomach. I was wondering if you all had any recommendations forr tapes that would be good for a beginner, like me. I'm not very flexible, and I'm not in amazing shape but I'm not in terrible shape either. I have a good amount of muscle on my arms, although I'm still terrible at push ups, and my legs and thighs aren't very strong at all. Why am I losing weight so slow (1-2 lbs a week) when I used to lose up to 5 lbs a week?

I cut down on my eating a lot. I eat about twice a day now with maybe a snack in between the two meals. I was 261 lbs, right now at 256 so I have lost some but its been very slow. I'm 6ft tall and 21. I exercise a few times a week as well with cardio exercises. Why is it so slow? This past week I only lost 1 pound. I am happy with my weight loss because I heard slow weight loss means its permanent, but I do wonder why its not faster like it used to be.

A question about printing and image resolution?

I have a 91x91 cm (about 36x36 inches) image. i want to decrease it's size to 36x36 cm (about 14x14 inches) and print it. the problem is that when i changed it's resolution to 300 dpi in photoshop then pressed the Actual Pixels button the image looked pixilated. If i keep the resolution at 72 there would be no problem. i really need this image, is there a problem with just printing it at 72 dpi? I'm printing it with 4 other images, but the other images will be printed at the resolution of 300 dpi, will i see the difference since i have not increased it's size?

A while ago, I scanned in a picture, but must have scanned it at something like, 1200 dpi, cos it's about 97MB, which is obviously too big. What the hell is wrong with me? Seriously.?

I'm 15, and I'm sick of life. Yes, I'm suicidal. But I feel like my circumstances are pretty much excusable. I don't want to be a whiny teen, but I'm so sick of my family. I feel like I'm going insane because of them. Here's what's happened. All my life, I've lived with my mom in one town. Then, all of a sudden, last year my dad moved across the country, and my mom ditched and went on the other side of the country. Leaving me in this situation where I don't want to leave in the middle of the school year. But my dad was persuading me to move to Tampa with him. So I gave in, and went to Tampa. He put me in all these sports and I was so homesick and he constantly pointed out that I was an embarrassment, and a disappointment, although my marks in school were straight A's and I kept my room clean and I barely ever went out with friends or even had friends. Then my mom said she'd find a job and move back home. So my dad, me and my mom had an ugly custody battle. I mean UGLY. It ruined me and my dad's failing relationship. I felt better I was going home though. But my mom lied. She wants this kind of California lifestyle. So, she made me move in with her. It was alright at first, but things went downhill really fast. She screamed at me for everything. Literally screaming. Calling me a ****, whore, every name in the book. She's even hit me before, and asked me to kill myself once. She'll get mad over making a C or not doing homework or that I'm depressed. I was lonely living with her. I had no friends, I had nothing to do, and she was making life hell. So she dumped me off to my uncle, and things went great. There was nothing wrong. Then we get in one argument, SOLVE THE PROBLEMS, and my mom calls and argues with him and tells him that I'm gonna move in with her friend. Without telling me. So he takes it all out on me, throws my stuff on the lawn, takes a pic of it and sends it to me, and forces me out without telling me why. Then he calls me a whore, says I'm gonna end up in the 9th grade again, and says he's glad he has a kid whose parents love him. So I live with my mom's friend. Then mom calls and says I have to move back to Cali this summer. Early. Way too early. At this point, I'm tired of moving. I'm tired of drama. I'm tired of bad crap happening. The last thing that could make me feel any better is moving to California. So I freaked out, took a bunch of painkillers, got found, and went to a mental facility for a week. None of my family cared I tried to kill myself. They just called me out of control. I'm going to just let you know, I don't do drugs, I don't have sex, I don't disrespect authority, I'm home on curfew, and I don't drink. I'm going crazy, because I have no clue why they think I'm out of control! I just want to stay home! I've moved literally 7 times in one year, across the country! Anyways, after I got out of the facility, I moved in with my grandma for a bit. Things have been fine. She said if I did well being here until I have to leave, she said I could live with her for the school year and my mom agreed. But tonight, she got mad because I went to my boyfriend's house, and she said to call her before dark to see if I can get a ride or not, and I tried and nobody answered and left a voicemail, and I came home around 9:30. Before curfew. But she called me "wild" and "out of control". It just doesn't make sense to me. Just because of this, she doesn't want me back for the school season. There's no way I'm gonna make it to be 18. I'm going to go insane and eventually kill myself. I feel like I have no hope. There really is no hope. I can't do this. I can't handle my family. I can't handle my mom. Knowing my family, they would definitely not care if I died. I don't care if it's a permanent solution, I don't care if I'm selfish, I just want it all to end. I don't want to cry anymore.I just want someone to care. But that won't happen. Why does my family hate me? Why am I really a bad person?

Post Surgery Uncontrollable Urine?

About 6 months ago my male Terrier got diagnosed with a bladder stone. We couldnt afford things at the time, so we had a charity vet do it for us. We took great care of him after surgery and if anything seemed wrong we went to the vet for check ups. He is doing great, very energetic. But I have noticed when laying down, he uncontrollably pees. I usually let him snuggle with me at night but now I wake up with urine stains all over my bed. He doesn't mean to do it. I take him on multiple daily walks. I don't know how to fix it other then doggie diapers. Is there any permanent way to fix it. (He doesn't seem to notice at all when he urinates. Just a puddles when he gets up)

The difference is nothing really. The reason they say it's 72dpi is because someone at the W3C decided it was a good number most likely. But there are some differences technically since we see the same quality of image but there is extra data that is unnecessary in the 100dpi image. That's about the only difference. Scanning 35mm negatives - need some info?

I have just bought an Epson V700 and am still experimenting with it to see how it handles various film sizes ( 35mm; 6x6; 6x7; 645 ); this is a flat bed scanner but needs the film holder to hold the various sizes of both negatives and transparences in my collection. I have managed to scan 35mm images at 6400 dpi as 48-bit colour with acceptable results - see my contributions on Railway Herald galleries for examples of recent work - especially the Class 50s at Carlisle which were taken in 1970 and were scanned last month to generate the first printed image saince exposing on film. The larger format images are scanned at 3200 (else the file gets too big for memory) but all of the scanned images are resized to 300 dpi as first task before applying crops and further resizing.

Sorry I don't have an answer, but my daughter is also just about 5 months old and was diagnosed with Torticollis/Plagiocephaly. I had heard some babies need helmets, but so far the physical therapist is saying she doesn't think she'll need one. I was concerned because I want to make sure my daughter's head, face and ear correct itself and she said with time, it will as the Torticollis is resolved. I have medium thick hair. It's wavy, brown, and about half way down my back. I always get a lot of flyways in my hair, at the roots mostly. Also my hair gets frizzy. Gaming can work the graphics card harder as well as the CPU and if there is not enough cooling for either or both, then it can cause the system to lock up like that. You may need to add cooling fans, or get a better CPU heatsink and cooling fan (sometimes the stock ones are not good enough). It's also possible that the stock power supply is not big enough to handle the extra load when gaming and shuts down some of the power (yes, even though the computer still looks like it's running, it's not, especially if you lose the monitor, keyboard and mouse). You may also have a memory issue. Sometimes memory fails under heavy load like when gaming, but works OK all other times.

A question about printing and image resolution?

I have a 91x91 cm (about 36x36 inches) image. i want to decrease it's size to 36x36 cm (about 14x14 inches) and print it. the problem is that when i changed it's resolution to 300 dpi in photoshop then pressed the Actual Pixels button the image looked pixilated. If i keep the resolution at 72 there would be no problem. i really need this image, is there a problem with just printing it at 72 dpi? Why is scanned image all 'dotty'?

I originally had a older Lexmark scanner and when a printed color image is scanned at 300 DPI, it would come up as more sharp and the halftone like dots would be dark and blend in. I recently got a newer HP Photosmart 2575 scanner and now the scans come up with the halftone dots all bright, and white. I have tested it and its only on this scanner not the old one. Anyone one know what could cause this or if its a setting problem?

I took a ton of RAW photos on my Canon 60D and I want to put them on facebook, so they have to be JPG. I'm using the Canon Digital Photo Professional to convert them to JPG and I'm just wondering if 350 dpi is the highest quality to which I can convert them. It sounds like your image was plenty large enough to begin with. Most labs want 240-300dpi for images. If you are printing out 4x6's, you can just send the original file.

Yesterday I used a semi-permanent light brown hair dye on my hair. I have dark brown hair. I left it in too short and it didn't work at all. I really wanted to have light brown hair by tommorow. I bought permanent hair dye instead, but i'm not sure if I should use it over the semi, even though I don't think it worked at all. For that price you should be able to get a Quad Core if not a Hex-Core from AMD. Intel i7 would be better, but that's overkill if you're only spending 7-800 dollars.
