How long does it take a permanent holder to become U.S.A citizin?

I know you have to be living in the USA for 4 years and 9 months continously but how long does it take to become citizen after you apply for citizenship. I live in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. I'm a technician and planning to get the citizenship. Thank you.
