How to make the computer screen normal?

ok, u don't sound very computer savvy so this might be a bit hard for you to understand, if your using windows 7 open up the start menu and click on control panel. once that's open under appearance and personalization click adjust screen resolution. there will be a drop down menu that says your current Resolution setting, click the drop down menu and drag the bar all the way up. then click ok, oh and tell ur mom some guy on the internet helped me fix the computer. it'll freak her out ;)
