Do you have to bleach your hair for RAW Demi-Permanent Hair Color ?

My hair is bright red. I just Splat to dye it. I had to bleach it so i can get it to be bright red. It faded after a few weeks. I just want to make my hair bright red again, without bleaching it. Please help .
