How can I best upgrade my desktop?

I don't understand why your giving me all this bull crap information with "Display Devices" or "DirextX Debug Levels" and "DxDiag Notes" thats all useless crap... and whats their to upgrade? if your computer is running slow on games or something than you probably just need a graphics card... if RAM is a problem than upgrade it... if your just trying to like... get your system to MAX than your going to be wasting money unless your doing video editing or music updating or just extreme gaming....
