How did my permanent tooth grow back?

Sometimes people are born with more than one tooth under one or two baby teeth, even if you had'nt got hit with a baseball bat it still (i think) would have fallen out and grown back, mysister is the opposite way she did'nt have an adult tooth under her baby tooth so she never has llst her baby tooth. I am not possitive if i'm right about this but pretty sure
